UPDATED JULY 24TH, 2021

Although the Government removed the majority of legal requirements related to the management of COVID-19 on July 19th, ongoing Government guidance still requires us to have measures in place to reduce the risk of transmission. We have updated our general information below. We will still be offering the facility to bool tickets in advance for all events, and some element of timed ticketing will still be in place for many of our events to avoid the risk of overcrowding in the early part of the events

For our September Fairs, we have differing arrangements in place for each of the Fairs, consistent with the preferences of our host gardens.  For all fairs, you may book your tickets in advance if you prefer to do so. The detailed arrangements are as follows:

September 5th - Adwell House, near Thame

ENTRY TO THE FAIR IS BY PREBOOKED TICKET only for arrival from 11am until 1pm. Visitors may pay at the gate from 1pm onwards with no need to prebook.

September 12th - The Bishop’s Palace, Wells, Somerset

Prebooked tickets are available

September 19th -  Llanover House, near Abergavenny

ENTRY TO THE FAIR IS BY PREBOOKED TICKET only for arrival from 11am until 1pm. Visitors may pay at the gate from 1pm onwards with no need to prebook.

September 26th - Evenley Wood Gardens, Nr. Brackley, Northants

ENTRY TO THE FAIR IS BY PREBOOKED TICKET only throughout the day

Please visit the individual event pages for full details and for the ticketing links.

Whilst we hope that there will be no further changes to Government guidelines, we can't rule this out, so please check back regularly to this website for the most up to date information.

Our COVID-Safe Event Arrangements

  • Depending on the agreement with our venues, admission to all of part of each Fair will be by ADVANCED BOOKING only. This will also apply, where relevant, to season ticket holders for any of the venues - you won't be charged an entry fee but you must still book ahead. The tickets will have timed, allocated slots throughout the day, in order to spread the number of visitors across the day, but once you have arrived at the Fair you are welcome to stay as long as you like up to the closing time of the event. If you are delayed and arrive late for your time slot, don't worry - we'll still let you in! Links to the ticketing websites are on the individual event pages, and prices include the booking fee charged by out ticketing agency. Where payment on the gate is available, please try to pay by contactless card payment if you can.
  • We will be continuing to lay out at the Fairs to allow for as much space as possible around and between the stalls to to allow plenty of room to browse without any crowding. Please try to give others as much space as you can during your visit, especially when queuing for toilets or refreshments, or at the gate.
  • Whilst it is no longer a mandatory requirement to record details of visitors for Track and Trace purposes, Government guidelines state that we should continue to offer this for those that wish to make use of it. We will therefore have the QR code available at the gate, as well as a sign up sheet for those who don't use the NHS app, for those that still wish to do this.
  • Some of our nurseries can offer the option of contactless card payments, so please make use of this where you can. However, card machines can be at the mercy of temperamental mobile phone signals in rural locations, and also not all stallholders have card facilities, so please bring plenty of cash with you as well (and even a good, old-fashioned cheque book, if you have one!)
  • If you can, please bring your own bags, and pack your purchases yourself if possible. but if you can't, don't worry; our stallholders will still be happy to provide bags and help you with your packing.
  • We will have hand sanitizer available at the gate and at the toilets at the events, but we would suggest that you bring your own supply as well to use during your visit.
  • Please don't enter the fair if you are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Government guidance may change in the period leading up to the Fairs: should any of these significantly affect the arrangements for the Fairs we'll publicise them on our website on this page, and we will inform everyone who has booked a ticket via e-mail. so you can book your ticket with confidence.

Further details, including links to the ticketing websites, will be available on each of event pages on this website. As the year progresses, and hopefully COVID restrictions ease, we may be able to relax some of these measures.

Please check back to the website regularly during the year for the most up to date information. You can also keep in touch via our social media accounts on FacebookTwitter and Instagram, or by signing up to our newsletter.
