LDB Plants have been based in the heart of West Sussex, looking out over the South Downs, since 2022. However, we may be new in our current guise, but before the new beginning in Sussex, the team have over 25 years of growing and showing experience, and have built gardens and displays across the country, including The Chelsea Flower Show, BBC Gardeners World Live and the Malvern Spring Garden Festival.

The team on the nursery are focussed on producing plants for our changing climate, and particularly drought tolerance, and we are always looking for the next big thing to cope with the changing conditions! The nursery is on the slopes of the South Downs, along a river valley, so suffers with cold frosts late into the year, as well as significant wind blowing up the Arun Valley from the English Channel.

Don’t worry we also slip in a few of our absolute favourites (we can’t resist), and you’ll always find something a little bit different wherever you see us.
