A recently opened nursery in the heart of Wiltshire, specialising in sun loving Perennials and Shrubs. After working in many gardens and getting hooked on plants, l knew l had to start a nursery of my own and try to spread the message of what plants can do for you, to others.

Wylye Valley Plants was only established in 2024, when after many years of working as a Senior Gardener in many prestigious gardens and studying hard with the RHS, I came across an old abandoned nursery to rent near my house. The site had 7 foot high brambles and the polytunnel needed repair, but all I saw was potential. Specialising in perennials and shrubs l grow and propagate 90% of the stock myself. Everything is peat free, grown in my own versatile compost mix ensuring the right soil for the right plant, l produce a lot of my compost on site. I'm pesticide free.

I also have fantastic friendships with several local garden designers who bring me all of their used pots. So I never have to buy new plastic pots, I reuse everything I can. I try and grow as many unusual varieties as I can, I also have a love of design, creating new borders for clients and helping people refresh what they already have. I enjoy doing consultations with new clients, really getting to the bottom of what they want from their garden and how I can help them. Either as a designer, a gardener or plant nursery. Preferably all three.
