Malvern Salvia Collection was founded by Rob, a gardener who discovered the appeal of these exceptional perennials while sourcing plants for clients. Impressed by their versatility and character, he began growing and sharing them with others. 

Salvias are members of the mint family, known for their scented foliage and wide range of colours and growth habits. They are excellent plants for supporting pollinators, bringing valuable wildlife interest into any garden. 

The nursery is located at the foot of the Malvern Hills, where all plants are UK-grown in peat-free compost. At the Rare Plant Fairs, I usually bring around 20 different varieties, and the selection varies throughout the season, ensuring there is always something new to explore. 

Over the coming years, I will also be developing a collection of rare salvias, helping to conserve varieties that are now scarce or close to disappearing in the wild.
